SkillStream ("we", "us", "our") is a bilingual AI learning platform operated under the SkillStream brand. Our website is located at skillstream.app.
What data we collect
We collect the following information when you use SkillStream: • Email address — when you complete the onboarding quiz, join the waitlist, or access the AI Income Report • Learning preferences — your path (Fast-Track / Systems Builder / Careerist), experience level, goal, and available time, collected during the quiz • Payment data — processed entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your credit card number • Usage data — standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) collected automatically by Vercel
How we use your data
We use your data to: • Send you a personalized welcome email with your roadmap • Send a weekly digest of curated AI learning content (you can unsubscribe any time) • Manage your premium subscription via Stripe • Measure how people use the platform so we can improve it • Show you relevant content based on your learning path
Email communications
By submitting your email on SkillStream you agree to receive: • A one-time welcome email with your personalized roadmap • A weekly digest of curated AI content (every Monday) You can unsubscribe from digest emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email we send. We honour all unsubscribe requests immediately.
Cookies & tracking
We use: • localStorage — to remember your quiz results and learning path between visits (no cookies, stored only in your browser) • Meta Pixel — to measure advertising effectiveness. You can opt out via your Meta privacy settings • Vercel Analytics — anonymous usage statistics with no personally identifiable information
Data sharing
We do not sell your data. We share it only with: • Stripe — to process payments (their privacy policy: stripe.com/privacy) • Resend — to deliver emails (their privacy policy: resend.com/privacy) • Supabase — to store your account data (their privacy policy: supabase.com/privacy) • Vercel — to host the platform (their privacy policy: vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy)
Your rights (GDPR)
If you are in the European Union you have the right to: • Access the personal data we hold about you • Request correction of inaccurate data • Request deletion of your data • Object to processing of your data • Request data portability To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@streamskill.app and we will respond within 30 days.
Data retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion, we remove your data from all our systems within 30 days. Anonymised analytics data may be retained indefinitely.
